On My Shoppinglist: Winter Staples To Keep You Warm

Happy Monday everyone!

As the temperatures keep dropping over here I have been scouring my favorite onlineshops for those clothing items, that will make your winter outfits look cute and put together yet prevent you from freezing your bum off!

I don't know what it is, but I always seem to sacrifice style for warmth during these colder months - which is fair enough in my honest opinion haha - but the shops are full to the brim with versatile clothes and accessories that keep you toasty AND stylish.

I hope you enjoy my selection!

Second row: Zara, NA-KD, UGG

Let's talk about some of my favorites (that may or may not be already in my shopping cart haha!)

PrettyLittleThing Blue Faux Fur Coat - Ok, can we talk about THIS baby?? I absolutely fell head over heels for this jacket, it does not only look super warm and snuggle it's also one of those head-turners - I'm in love!

New Look Rust Longline Bouclé Scarf - I adooore the color of this scarf, it will go great with my camel and gray coats as well as with a black biker jacket!

PrettyLittleThing White Puffer Jacket - I did not know I needed a white puffer jacket until I saw this one - so chic!

NA-KD Fashion High Neck Sweater - A rollneck sweater is perfect for layering thus keeping you warm. This one is thin enough to wear it under knitted cardigans.

What do you think about my picks? Any favs? If no one mentions the blue PLT faux fur coat I'm going to be personally offended haha!
What is currently in your shopping carts that you are purchasing for winter?

Thanks for stopping by and reading!

Friday Favs: What I'm Loving Right Now

Happy Friday!

I am actually so glad that this week is over as it was super jam-packed for me and every day felt like it would never end... however, thus I am extra excited for the upcoming weekend and I tought I would celebrate that by introducing a little new segment to my blog!

Here is the first installment of my Friday Favs - a curated selection of all sort of things I've been loving recently. Today I'm sharing style picks, perfume, decor and even a tv show - let's say it's a pretty diverse blogpost :)

I hope you enjoy and please don't forget to share your recent favs in the comments below!

Scented Candles from H&M Home - I did not think that much of these as I picked one up randomly in the store, but let me tell you - these are good! They have four amazing scents that are quite simple and not overdone yet so cozy and they last SO LONG. A bonus: they come in super cute glass packaging in different colors - so minimalist chic!

Black Overknee Boots by ASOS Design - I am absolutely in love with my new overknee boots I purchased a few weeks ago and they really re-ignited my passion for finding new outfits - I adore styling them! They go perfectly with jeans, leggings, skirts and dresses, they are so versatile, I pair them with pretty much every item in my closet. Fall/ winter staple!

Gallery Wall Inspo by Desenio -Desenio has really up'd their game this year! They always had the most amazing prints to personalize your wall decor but now you can create your own gallery wall on their website, put together different prints, get suggestions on what goes together the best and let yourself be inspired by the many well thought-out constellations of different frame sizes and layout for any kind of empty space you want to fill!

Black Opium by YSL - this perfume is one of my colder season favorites! It's sexy, it's dark and it's heavy - so not a scent for the faint hearted haha! No but really, this scent smells heavenly and I use this when going out at night time during the colder months and it makes me feel a million bucks.

Grey Sweater Dress by H&M - Another amazing H&M find is this rollneck sweater dress. It is super slouchy, soft and oversized - it honestly feels like you are wearing your duvet cover out haha! I get tons of comments and questions about this whenever I wear it out, I pair it with tights and booties or my overknee boots or my faux leather leggings. So cozy!

The Bold Type on Amazon Prime - I started watching this show because I wanted something light and easy to watch while building my new shoe shelf (lol) and omg I did not expect to get that HOOKED! It's about three young women working for one of the most successful fashion magazines in NYC all while facing their different personal challenges and struggles along the way. Does not sound like much, but trust me, you will fall in love with the characters. If you like Gossip Girl, you'll enjoy this one as well!

What do you think about my favorite things as of lately? Did this post inspire you to try any of these? And most importantly: what are your Friday Favs??

Creative Salad Recipes

I have shared on my blog numerous times that I am not much of a cook... I am not a cook at all to be completely honest here and I'll admit that!

Sure, there are the handful of go-to recipes that I can whip up easily and that taste alright, so that I won't be starving, however, if I have the choice, I much rather prefer going to a restaurant, ordering take-out OR letting my boyfriend cook - he loves it and is really good at it, lucky me!!

Now, with the colder season I have definitely noticed that I am NOT eating as much fresh fruit, vegetables and greens as I used to during the warmer months and far less than I should be eating to guarantee for my vitamin and nutrients intake.

So this is why I opted for consciously preparing more salads to serve this purpose: healthy, vitamin-packed and delicious! However, since I am seriously lacking imagination in the cooking department, I, of course, turned to Pinterest to pin some new salad recipes - and let me tell you, I found some amazing ones!!

I am sharing four recipes here today. Please keep in mind, these are NOT mine (god, I wish I was that creative with food haha), I am just curating a cool and yummy selection, please click on the link under each picture to get to the full recipe.

Happy feasting!

  • 250g minced meat
  • 1 onion
  • 1 paket taco seasing mix
  • 250g pasta of your choice
  • 250g tomatoes
  • 1 cup of coriander

Pinspiration: Cozy Up!

Even though November is one of those in-between months where nothing reeaaally is happening except for all of us waiting for the holidays, I do like to treat the almost-last month of the year as a chance to really gear up in terms of everything COZY!

Wether that be updating my winter wardrobe, re-purchasing those skincare bits that cater to dry, cold-suffering skin or pinning away recipes for gorgeous and calorie-loaded hot cocoa drinks in different variations (mmhhh...).

Speaking of Pinterest, I always like to create a mood board that caters to my decor wishes and needs for the particular season. I spend all of last night looking and saving simple way to really cozy up my home for the colder season ahead. I love the result!

Check out some inspiration to make your apartment feel like a cozy cabin somewhere in the mountains of Canada (lol) - hope you enjoy!

So, let me just say, candles, chunky knit throws and twinkle lights all the way for me!
Which Pinspiration is your fav? Which decor would you try?

Moschino x H&M - A First Peak

TOMORROW is the big day.

On the 8th of November 2018 one of the most hyped designer collaborations will be hitting (selected) stores: Moschino x H&M.

Now, I definitely did not see this collection coming before it was announced a few months ago - but I absolutely approve! Moschino is not a brand I'd go crazy for and buy every item they release (even if I did have the money for it), BUT I do think that they have some really cool key pieces that add that little bit of edge to any outfit (I especially love their accessories!).

At a first glance Moschino x H&M is trashy, colorful, 90's-hip-hop-streetwear-glam and a whoooole lot of gold hardware. The campaign video brings across the vibe pretty accurate imho!

For me it is not a collection I am lusting for each and every single pieces. However, I did find some statement things that I would loooove to get my hands on.

So, let's have a look at some stand-out pieces for me - they even have DOG HOODIES whaaat?!

Printed T-Shirt - €34.99

Bra and Panty Set - €29.99 + €19.99

Bomberjacket - €149

Leather Belt - €99

Hoodie - €59.99

Dog Hoodie - €79.99

Lace Up Boots - €199

Woooow - what a collection? What do you think?? So excited to hear some opinions about this collaboration!

If I would miraculously manage to get my hands on even one of these pieces I would personally go for something more casual like one of the T-Shirts or hoodies. But to be completely honest these lace up booties are making me swoon!!

In an ideal world I would also pick up that adorable hoodie for my dog, but... with it being even more expensive than the ladies sweater, I leave that to the dog mommas that spoil their fur babys to high heaven haha!
